Flynn Panera is built on a decentralized business model, with Market Leaders overseeing geographic areas, Area Directors supervising multiple units, and General Managers responsible for cafe operations. Assistant Managers support daily management, and Team Managers complete the cafe leadership team. Position Description Our Panera Bread cafes are upscale, friendly establishments featuring baked breads and pastries. We serve made-to-order soups, salads and sandwiches as well as specialty espresso beverages. No Fryers and No Late Nights. We are known for our artisan breads, quality soups, salads and sandwiches, which creates a grease- and alcohol-free environment for our associates. As a manager, this means no late nights, but we do hope you are a morning person. Managers at our growing cafes supervise up to 75 staff members to ensure a top-quality service experience for our guests. Responsibilities

As a Team Manager at Panera Bread, you would be responsible for providing outstanding leadership to your team. You should be passionate about the industry, inspiring others, coaching, counseling, creating a profitable environment, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Maintain high standards of restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, food quality and safety, and facility management. We are looking for experienced restaurant professionals with a steady, stable employment track record, attention to detail, and outstanding social skills. Typical work activities include leading the team, ensuring great customer service, owning the business performance, maintaining a safe and healthy environment, and coordinating operations during scheduled shifts. Greet customers and perform table visits to ensure customer satisfaction. Recruit, train and motivate staff; assist bakery-cafe specialists in training and competency in all aspects of food service and customer support. Ensure objectives are achieved while operating within all company guidelines, cultural values and ethical business practices. Exhibits a professional image and promotes our Values and Beliefs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Restaurant management involves strategic planning, shift organization and day-to-day management; the role is fast-paced, demanding and rewarding. Qualifications

At least 1-2 years hospitality experience. Food Management Certifications are a plus. Must have the "Run it Like you Own It Mentality". Excellent organization, customer service and time management skills. Proven track record for leadership. Passion, energy and a positive attitude. Ability to work well under pressure and with a diverse group of people. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Reference checks. Perks for our employees

Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to ten (10) hours in length. Must have the ability to safely lift pots, pans, glassware, boxes, etc. up to 50 pounds in weight. Must be able to read and write to facilitate communication. Must possess finger and hand dexterity for using small tools and equipment.
