NPHS seeks an innovative and adaptable Manufactured Housing Sales & Outreach Associate to join our team of entrepreneurs and innovators. Our ideal candidate is flexible, entrepreneurial, and technology‑minded, with experience in affordable housing development.

Position Overview Under the direction of the Chief Business Officer, the Manufactured Housing Sales & Outreach Associate is responsible for the sale of manufactured housing units. This position is responsible for growing our pipeline of high‑quality, affordable, and sustainable, affordable housing stock including single‑family, multifamily and accessory dwelling units.

Responsibilities

Oversee day‑to‑day operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in all processes.

Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve productivity and quality.

Develop, analyze, and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial objectives to ensure cost‑effectiveness.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.

Coordinate with different departments to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that arise.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative solutions.

Conduct regular sales meetings and training sessions to enhance the skills and performance of the sales team.

Sell a variety of manufactured housing units to potential buyers, meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.

Provide detailed product presentations and tours of manufactured homes.

Assist customers through the entire sales process, from initial inquiry to closing the sale.

Attend and represent the company at community events, trade shows, and other relevant events to promote manufactured homes.

Build and maintain relationships with local developers, real estate agents, community organizations, and other potential referral sources.

Respond promptly to inquiries from potential customers, providing excellent customer service.

Follow up with leads and maintain a robust pipeline of potential buyers.

Work closely with customers to understand their needs and preferences, offering tailored solutions.

Conduct follow‑ups after sales to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage referrals.

Build and maintain relationships with developers of all sizes.

Locate and build relationships with owners of mobile‑home parks to identify empty spaces and/or provide home replacements.

Maintain accurate records of sales activities, vendor relationships, customer interactions, and transactions.

Ensure compliance with all company policies and legal requirements.

Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.

Required Qualifications

Proven experience in sales, preferably in the manufactured housing or real estate industry.

Strong outreach skills with experience in community engagement and relationship‑building.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Self‑motivated with a strong drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficient in using CRM software and project management software.

Must have or obtain a California Manufactured Dealer License within 3 months of employment.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Education Requirements A creative person with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Public or Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate, Communications, or a closely related field is required.

Work Schedule Forty hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Evening and weekend work may be required to complete projects and attend meetings.

Compensation Annual base salary range: $68,640 - $75,000 commensurate with experience. NPHS offers comprehensive health benefits and an 8% employer retirement plan match to support our employees’ financial well‑being and security.
