International Protective Service, Inc., an Allied Universal® Company, is hiring an Armed Security Officer. The role involves the safety and security of the facilities you protect. Our Officers act as a visible deterrent to crime, detect and report suspicious acts, and protect the property, clients, guests and employees at the site.

Qualifications (Must Have) High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver’s license if required to operate a vehicle Prior security or related protective service experience Minimum age 21 (or higher if required by state) Excellent communication skills; able to articulate and write clear incident reports Ability to complete all required range qualifications and functions Clean MVR and Drivers License Concealed handgun license

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) Associate’s degree or higher in Criminal Justice or related field Law enforcement experience Military experience Three or more years as an armed security professional

Responsibilities Provide high‑quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to protect people, assets, and sensitive information Enforce rules, regulations, and directives to maintain order Maintain proficiency in all assigned protective equipment, restraint devices, and weapons Greet guests and employees, escort visitors and contractors, and secure ingress and egress points Follow site‑specific performance manuals, post orders, and report safety concerns or breaches via written and verbal communication Respond to and assess security alarms; act as a first responder and provide first aid as necessary
