Responsibilities Under the direct and immediate supervision of a surgeon, assists with exposure, hemostasis, and other technical functions to support a safe operation with optimal outcomes. Must be able to close/suture. Prioritizes patient needs, builds patient relationships, seeks information to understand patient circumstances, resolves problems quickly, and maintains a cooperative relationship with patients.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree preferred; successful completion of the CFA examination is accepted in lieu of a degree.
Certification as a CST/CSFA required.
CPR certification required.
