Behavioral Therapist — Adult, Kokomo

About the Role The Behavioral Health Therapists facilitate, monitor, and provide comprehensive mental health/chemical dependency case management and therapy services (including but not limited to assessment, individual, family, and group therapy, crisis intervention, and treatment planning) to addicted and/or severely mentally ill adults or seriously emotionally disturbed children and their families.
Key Responsibilities
Assess and provide individual, family, and group therapy.
Develop and implement treatment plans.
Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team, including referral and discharge planning.
Provide services in homes, schools, and community sites; transport clients if needed.
Actively participate in quality improvement and professional development initiatives.
Offer psychological first aid and aggressive behavior management when trained.
Qualifications Applicants should be able to collaborate with others in a team setting, have excellent communication skills, and have a positive attitude toward problem‑solving.
License eligible for the LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or LCAC in Indiana.
Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a mental health‑related field.
2+ years of experience providing mental health treatment.
Current Indiana driver’s license with proof of auto insurance.
Commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence.
Skilled in training and assisting clients/families in activities of daily living.
Experience with crisis intervention and individualized treatment planning.
Proficiency in case management and community resource linkage.
Ability to provide psychological first aid and aggressive behavior management.
