NP is a 24‑bed specialty med/surg unit that serves neuro, ortho, and pediatric patients. The team is experienced, collaborative, and frequently praised for its compassionate care.
How You Will Contribute
Assist with developing departmental goals, standards, and objectives that support the organization’s strategic plan.
Manage staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict resolution. Oversee scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagement.
Monitor departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, contracts, and vendor relations. Justify needed supplies and equipment and ensure proper usage.
Assess the quality of patient care and coordinate services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments. Provide patient care when necessary.
Create and nurture an environment that encourages professional growth.
Integrate evidence‑based practices into operations and clinical protocols.

What We Are Looking For
Applicants must hold a Michigan RN license and possess an associate degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor’s degree preferred).
Additional Requirements
Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS‑HCP)
Pediatric Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (PACLS) – current within 1 year
Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) – current within 1 year
Two (2) years of nursing experience
Seven (7) years of managerial experience (preferred)
