NP Hospitalist in Behavioral Health – Blue Ridge Mountains Centra's Psychiatry and Behavioral Health provides vital and compassionate mental health services to our community through a variety of programs. We offer inpatient programs which include Acute Psychiatric Program for Children & Adolescents, an Adult Psychiatric Program, and a Geriatric Psychiatric Program.

We also provide ambulatory services through Piedmont Psychiatric Center, Centra Pathways Treatment Center for those with substance use disorders related problems and Consult Liaison Services with two hospitals. In addition, we have our new Psychiatric Emergency Center (emPATH) which opened in October of 2023 and has been incredibly successful. We have the first one in VA!

Our Behavioral Health team is currently seeking a NP or PA to work in an inpatient setting to manage basic medical needs for their adult/geriatric patient population.

Responsibilities

Schedule 4 day/week, 7:30am-5:30pm

Must be flexible to work as needed to include weekends (1.5-2/mth)

Qualifications

Masters or Doctorate degree as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Licensed and in good standing as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant required

Provider experience working in Behavioral Health/Mental Health strongly desired

Salary $125,000.00 - $145,000.00
