Primary Purpose
The primary purpose of this position is to provide CAD support to Product Care and Research and Development (R&D).
Scheduled Work Hours 7:30 am – 3:30 pm (Monday – Friday)
Hourly Pay Range $31.96 – $39.95
Responsibilities
Basic design work including fit studies, tolerance studies, etc.
CAD support based on red‑lined drawings.
Perform other assignments as directed by local management.
Interact and support other functional areas of the department such as Quality Assurance and Model Shop.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree in CAD or a related field required.
Minimum of two years’ experience in the field of expertise required.
Strong mathematical skills required.
Computer‑Aided Drafting experience required.
Solid modeling experience required.
SolidWorks experience required.
Cosmos experience preferred.
Practical experience or understanding of woodworking, metal working, and plastic manufacturing preferred.
Demonstrates proficiency in all office systems/skills, Microsoft Office.
Previous experience with the use of an ERP system preferred (SAP preferred).
Must be extremely detail and accuracy oriented.
Must be process oriented.
Must have good organizational skills.
Must be a good decision maker and problem solver.
Must be an excellent communicator.
Must present a positive and professional appearance and image.
Must be an independent self‑starter who is capable of functioning in a team environment.
Ability to perform the essential functions assigned to the position.
