Associate Project Manager - JLL

Location: Onsite — Chicago, IL; Milwaukee, WI

This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Estimated compensation for this position:

65,900.00 - 80,700.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.

Responsibilities

Successfully manage and lead projects from inception to completion, ensuring the highest quality delivery within agreed timelines and budgets

Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle

Manage vendors and subcontractors to ensure full compliance with project policies and procedures, including the formal closeout of project

Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and empowering individuals to achieve their best performance

Develop comprehensive project plans, track progress, and proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues

Track project finances, ensure adherence to budgetary constraints, and provide accurate cost forecasts

Implement robust quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet the highest standards and client expectations

Identify opportunities for process enhancements, implement innovative project management practices, and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Prepare and deliver comprehensive project status reports, including progress against schedule, budget, and scope

Demonstrate exceptional communication skills by ensuring clear, timely, and consistent information flow among stakeholders, project teams, and leadership

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in project management, preferably in the real estate or construction industry

Proficiency in project management software

Strong knowledge of project management principles and best practices

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders

Proven ability to lead and motivate project teams, ensuring high levels of engagement and performance

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Capable of translating complex technical details into concise, actionable updates and fostering collaboration through effective verbal, written, and presentation skills

Technical understanding of MEP, critical environments, fire and life safety, sustainability, and infrastructure projects

Preferred Qualifications

Professional certification in project management (PMP), Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher), USGBC LEED (Green or AP), AIA member, or Professional Engineer (PE) licensure

Experience in Jones Lang LaSalle's project management software (Adaptive Work, Ingenious, and E1/Spend)

Proficiency in Smartsheet for project planning, scheduling, and reporting with ability to create dashboards and automate workflows

Experience working in a global and matrixed organization

Knowledge of industry-specific building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards

Familiarity with digital tools and technologies in project management

Advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills

Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment

Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
