Summary Of Position The General Manager is accountable for the management and operations of the restaurant, ensuring that team members are hospitality‑focused, people‑focused, and meeting expectations in all job areas. The General Manager reports to the District Manager and supervises Assistant Managers, Shift Leaders, and Team Members. They operate the restaurant in line with the business plan, while embodying Capstone values: People, Hospitality, and Integrity.

Responsibilities

Recruit and hire staff, maintaining a bench for future growth.

Ensure all marketing plans are executed, including proper installation of POP and menu board elements.

Ensure the restaurant is staffed properly and that team members are properly trained through effective training programs.

Ensure the restaurant is open and fully operational during business hours defined by senior leadership.

Provide leadership by creating excitement, enthusiasm, a positive mental attitude, and commitment to company objectives.

Maintain correct inventory levels and ensure all equipment is kept in excellent condition through approved vendors.

Set an example by maintaining an excellent working knowledge and high proficiency across all phases of restaurant operations and technology.

Supervise in accordance with established performance and operating policies from the operations standards manual.

Develop, motivate, and support Assistant Managers, Shift Leaders, and Team Members to reach their highest potential.

Review preliminary P/L’s and forward questions to the District Manager.

Adhere to all HR, sanitation, safety, and security policies and procedures to provide a safe and compliant environment for all.

Qualifications

3‑5 years management experience in a quick‑service/fast‑food dining concept.

Financial and analytical aptitude, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and P&L management.

Competencies

Valid driver’s license.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Ability to work flexible hours and shifts.

Ability to operate all equipment necessary to run the restaurant.

Ability to make decisions under pressure while delegating appropriately.

Strong conflict‑resolution skills.

High sense of urgency.

Self‑motivated.

Excellent organizational, planning, and time‑management skills.

Physical Requirements

Stand for long periods of time.

Work around high temperatures.

Work in close quarters with others.

Lift 50 pounds comfortably.

Use various cleaning products.

Perform work at a continuous high pace, under pressure, while maintaining quality and speed standards.

Pay Range USD $50,000.00 – USD $55,000.00 /Yr.
