Oversees and manages all day-to-day production operations in the assigned production section. Contributes to production planning processes, allocates personnel resources, proposes procedure improvements, and implements technical infrastructure. Ensures adherence to established quality guidelines and production safety requirements. Determines manufacturing priorities based on weekly production schedules. Makes daily assignments and directs all related personnel actions; advises staff, executes performance measurements, and interprets specifications to determine the acceptability of in‑process production. Leads all Production Operators in the assigned section.

Provide manpower planning to ensure production schedules are met.

Lead the training and qualification process of direct reports.

Facilitate team meetings to communicate departmental KPI measurements.

Lead and engage continuous improvement ideas from team members.

Conduct departmental audits (safety, 5S, etc.).

Ensure employees follow established procedures and standard work processes.

Address employee performance issues in a timely manner.

Manage the time and attendance system to ensure employee hours are properly captured.

Ensure that HSE policy and procedures are followed.

Conduct accident investigations.

Support Quality, Product Safety, Human Resources, and HSE/Environmental/Energy policies.

Understand and adhere to statutory or regulatory compliance obligations.

Support Integrated Management System policies, procedures and instructions.

Support relevant KPIs as defined in the goal tree.

Skills And Competencies

Knowledge of SAP system.

Accident investigation skills.

Dayforce knowledge.

Working knowledge of lean principles.

Excellent leadership skills.

Strong communication skills.

Supervisory Responsibility This position has >10 direct hourly reports.

Work Environment The employee will perform duties on a computer terminal and provide leadership on the plant floor. The employee may be exposed to shop floor conditions (noise, heat, cold, dust/dirt, etc.).

Physical Demands The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of an office work environment position.

Required Education And Experience

Associate Degree in Process, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, Business.

3‑5 Years of Relevant Experience.

Preferred Education And Experience

Lean Manufacturing, 5S, SAP.
