$58,700.00–$81,000.00

Overview The CBO A/R Manager oversees daily operations within the PPN Central Billing Office, developing and implementing efficient workflows to optimize revenue and cash while minimizing coding and billing risks. The Manager leads training, staff development, and process improvement initiatives in collaboration with Practice Managers, providers, and staff, ensuring high performance and productivity. Professionalism, discretion, and integrity are essential in all functions.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the assigned CBO team.

Collaborate with the CBO Administrator to develop, implement, and maintain workflows that enhance revenue/cash optimization and reduce coding/billing risks.

Provide direction, instruction, and guidance to all CBO team members for training and staff development.

Work with Practice Managers, providers, and staff to identify and implement process improvements that maintain optimal performance and productivity.

Maintain strong relationships with employees, peers, PPN staff, and leaders to ensure excellent customer service and provider confidence.

Recruit, develop, and manage team members as part of the core management responsibilities.

Ensure compliance with revenue cycle protocols and third‑party billing regulations.

Qualifications – External

Minimum high school diploma or equivalency certificate required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in medical billing and/or coding.

Prior management experience and/or a minimum of one year of employment within the PPN CBO.

Strong understanding of the physician revenue cycle.

Knowledge of third‑party billing regulations and CPT/ICD coding guidelines.

Proficiency in routine CRT/data entry.

Working knowledge of spreadsheet applications.

Excellent communication and decision‑making skills.
