Join a mission-driven team where your hands-on work directly supports sustainable infrastructure and environmental stewardship across Michigan. What You'll Do:* Conduct quality control testing of various construction materials (concrete, soil density, and asphalt density) on construction sites* Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions* Maintains the technical knowledge and professional certifications needed to perform job dutiesWhat You Need:* A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A two-year college degree or greater in the civil engineering field is preferred* Experience working in the construction materials testing field is desirable* Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload* Proficiency with standard computer programs, such as Microsoft Word and Excel* Ability to interact and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels, internally and externally* ACI/MCA Concrete Field Testing Technician and Nuclear Safety Certified certifications are a must* Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly and 80 lbs periodically* Applicant must have a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and proof of insurance**Salary Range:**$20.00**Benefits:*** Flexible Work Environment* Paid Parental Leave* Medical* Dental* Vision* Life and AD&D Insurance* Short-Term and Long-Term Disability* 401(k) with Company Match* Paid Time Off + Holidays*Verdantas strives to develop new ways to increase diversity awareness within our organization.
