Tulsa Public Schools’ existing salary schedules provide career increment adjustments based on education/experience and/or years of creditable service. Position Summary To assist a certified teacher in educating children and provide instruction and assistance to children in learning.
Minimum Qualifications Education:
High School diploma or equivalent
48 hours of approved college credit, an associate degree from an accredited school or successful completion of a district approved highly qualified test
Experience
Previous work experience in early childhood and/or elementary school preferred
Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, Etc.
Possess or ability to obtain a Tier I certification through Oklahoma Department of Education (one-time payment of $12 to be paid to the state by candidate/employee)
Proficient or willing to learn Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
Bilingual in Spanish preferred
