Join Award-winning Chef Roberto Alcocer at Vallé, a Guadalupe Valley Kitchen as he draws on the traditions of Mexico’s renowned wine region and the bounty of local farms and sea food, to create Valle’s bold cuisine paired with a selection of Mexican wine, best enjoyed on the seaside dining veranda in the Dining Room which boasts beautiful ocean views. Guests can enjoy an intimate dining experience with a Chef's tasting menu or a la carte, or if it is the case of a special celebratory evening up to eight in our private dining room.

Michelin star rated Valle restaurant is hiring experienced line cooks. We offer competitive and flexible wages based on experience. Line cook levels can go up to a level 5 for most experience.

Our hourly rates for Valle culinary positions we are hiring for start at range from $21.50 - $26.00 / hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications Qualifications:

A line cook requires good communication and culinary skills. Looking for professional knowledge of cooking ingredients and procedures who is capable of producing a consistent product to meet and exceed guests' needs in a timely manner.

Refined verbal communication skills.

3+ years of previous line experience in a full-service restaurant. Preferably Mexican fine dining.

Candidate should be able to perform all basic cooking skills.

Able to work single station in the kitchen.

Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Must work well under pressure.

Must be able to take direction from leader on recipes and follow recipes.

Must have basic knife skills.

Must have attention to detail.

Must be available Tuesday-Saturday. Restaurant is open Tuesday – Saturday.
