Position Information Title
Spring 2026 Group Fitness Instructor (Work Study)
Position Description BSU’s Fitness Center is available to currently enrolled BSU students, faculty, staff, and alumni. The Fitness Center’s Group Fitness Instructor will plan, design, and instruct safe and effective group fitness programs for BSU students in accordance with department policies. Types of programs may include, but not be limited to:
Dance
Bootcamp
HIIT
Yoga
Aqua-aerobics
Some combination of any of the above
Programs will be located in either available indoor or outdoor spaces that could vary within or across semesters.
Preferred Qualifications REQUIREMENTS :
Experience as a group fitness instructor
Current certification in CPR / AED
First Aid certification
Group fitness certification is preferred.

Physical Demands Be able to lift up to 45 pounds. Be physically able to instruct and or demonstrate a variety of exercises with little or no rest.
