Responsibilities - Body Shop Repair Technician:
Perform work as outlined on repair orders and meet deadlines
Conduct parts inventory for collision repairs to ensure accuracy
Weld metals, repair metal and plastic components
Remove damaged fenders and panels
Straighten frames
Grind, sand and file repaired surfaces
Repair or replace defective mechanical parts
Perform proper tool and equipment usage and maintenance
Keep shop area clean and organized
Other duties may be assigned
Requirements - Body Shop Repair Technician:
Previous Body Shop/Collision Repair experience required
I-CAR and ASE Certifications are a plus!
Must have own tools
Working knowledge of body shop equipment and tools including frame and measuring equipment
Basic mechanical understanding of automobiles
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Dependable attendance
A positive attitude and good work ethic
