Overview
Full-time position (1.0 FTE), 7.5 hours per day, 12 months per year Competitive Civil Service Position
Responsibilities The following work activities are listed as examples only and in no event shall an employee be limited to only those examples listed here:
Works with component school districts regarding questions and problems with computerized software
Assists Computer Services Center personnel with editing and balancing on-line and batch computer operations
Maintains records, and distributes and collects computer software materials relative to component school district requests
Receives PO Requisitions, enters PO’s and tracks PO’s to completion
Receives A/P invoices, reviews for accuracy and authorizes payment
Recordkeeping using various software systems

This is a competitive Civil Service position. The selected candidate must possess this title or be among the top three of a current, binding Civil Service list for the title or if no binding Civil Service list be in the top three after taking the required Civil Service exam for the title.
Qualifications
Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with an Associate’s Degree or higher, and two (2) years’ experience in an office setting, using computer software/applications; OR
Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and four (4) years of experience in an office setting, using computer software/applications; OR
Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and two (2) years of experience as a Computer Services Program Aide
Ability to work independently
Ability to establish good working relationships with computer services users
Ability to communicate effectively
Responsive to customer needs.
Salary SALARY RANGE: Per Support Staff contract. Plus, comprehensive benefits package.
