Transportation Non CDL Delivery Driver
Regular Full-Time Operative
Middletown, CT, US
Salary Range: $21.50 to $23.00 hourly
Job-Type: Full-Time (Sunday-Thursday), 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3rd shift (+$2 per hour shift differential)
Job Details U.S. Electrical Services, Inc. (USESI) is the country’s largest independent electrical wholesale distributor with 14 regional businesses, over 100 years of experience, and more than 2,000 employees. This role is based out of the Middletown, CT Central Distribution Center (CDC).
Responsibilities
Deliver to customer job sites in an accurate, professional, and courteous manner.
Load and unload freight as required, and according to customer-specific needs.
Deliver additional routes as required by dispatch and management.
Perform pre/post trip inspections and capture shipment photos.
Follow dispatch/routing instructions.
Adhere to safety requirements based on policy, procedure, and motor vehicle regulations.
Perform other duties as required.
Required Skills
Ability to operate warehouse equipment
Strong independence
Effective communication with all levels of customers
Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a DOT physical
Customer service experience and driving experience
