About The Services Evangelist Team The Services Evangelist team are collaborative team players who share winning sales tactics with their peers. Evangelists work side‑by‑side with Field, Territory and Enterprise Account Managers to increase our services attach rate globally. We invest heavily in their professional growth and empower them with resources to advance their career interests.

About the Role Seeking an experienced and dynamic Services Evangelist to focus on building successful programs to protect people and defend data by optimizing Proofpoint’s world‑class technology solutions globally. This role will lead presales conversations, strategy sessions, and value propositions for organizations looking to operationalize Proofpoint technology solutions and advise customers on combining people, process, and technology to achieve their cybersecurity objectives.

Your day‑to‑day

Engage with current and prospective customers in person (occasionally), by phone, and/or video conference.

Lead services value conversations with internal team members and customers.

Build rapport, trust and credibility with Proofpoint teammates and customers.

Assist in presenting at webinars and customer‑accuracy events.

Provide valuable customer insight to services leadership; influence service design, go‑to‑market strategy, and pricing.

Be an expert on Email Security, Security Awareness Training, Information Protection, and Cloud Security.

Use your judgement, share ideas and form lasting relationships to shape the next steps in your professional journey.

What You Bring to the Team

10+ years of experience in managed services sales or delivery, former executive or practitioner who planned or implemented Email Threat Protection, Information Protection, or Cloud Security programs.

Strong executive‑level presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Broad background in cybersecurity, including advanced threats, threat protection, data protection, cloud security, malware protection, and/or incident response.

Organized, detail‑ and process‑oriented.

Self‑starter with the ability to work independently or in a team environment.

Enjoys helping others solve problems.

Comfortable leading open, collaborative conversations.

Track record of successfully presenting to/educating field sales, SEs, and customers.

Rigorous organizational skills.

Security certifications such as CISSP are strongly preferred.

Pay Transparency Based on geographic markets, the base pay range for this role is $245,400.00–$337,370.00 USD in the SF Bay Area and New York City Metro Area. In other major metros, the range is $197,100.00–$271,040.00 USD. Across all other cities, the range is $177,500.00–$244,090.00 USD. Compensation may include variable and/or equity components. We offer a competitive benefits package, including flexible time off and a three‑week Work from Anywhere option.
