Job Summary Specialize in instructing members on a personal level using up‑to‑date techniques and methods to ensure proper use of the GYROTONIC Pulley Tower Combination Unit equipment.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
Attract and retain members by consistently providing excellent customer service and participating with the team toward member retention goals.
Provide clients with the highest level of professionalism and dedication through accurate fitness evaluations and effective program designs to help members achieve results and remain motivated.
Assist with integrating new members into the club, offering fitness lifestyle education and conducting fitness consultations for new clients to assess and recommend Pilates Reformer training programs.
Produce Pilates Reformer training revenue.
Lead by example, consistently conveying a positive attitude, passion, and pride in work.
Develop a personal rapport with members and clients, motivating them to participate in fitness programs.
Educate members on current health and fitness issues and trends.
Interact with employees, members, and guests in a manner aligned with the People, Places and Programs components of the Village Standards.
Maintain a clean work environment, ensuring the area is restored to cleanliness after each training session, wiping down equipment, and performing other duties as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills Required
Current national accredited GYROTONIC training and certification.
At least two years of training experience.
Strong experience in fitness programming.
Ability to promote/sell training packages.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks.
Ability to adhere to a flexible schedule and work independently.
Obtain CPR certification within 30 days of hire through company training.
May be required to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Must maintain a physical presence within the Village to perform assigned duties.
Must pass a background check.
Required Abilities Physical Activity This position requires frequent standing, walking, stretching, reaching, grasping, bending, kneeling, and occasional sitting. It involves substantial repetitive movements of the legs, feet, arms, wrists, hands, and fingers. The role includes conveying detailed spoken instructions, perceiving sounds at normal speaking levels, and receiving detailed information through written and oral communication.
Physical Requirement Frequent walking, standing, stretching, and bending daily. Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects weighing up to 20 pounds occasionally.
Visual Requirement Close visual acuity to observe and perform activities to teach Pilates.
Working Conditions Work is performed in an athletic club environment. The noise level is usually moderate to high and may involve hot weather conditions.
