Carwash/Gas Attendant at Sam's Club
Salary Range $17.00/hr - $24.00/hr (actual pay based on skills and experience)
Responsibilities
Communicate and explain membership types, programs, and benefits to current and prospective members to assist with account decisions, build membership levels, encourage renewals, communicate credit card program types and application processes, and promote the value of Sam's Club products and services.
Provide customer/member service by acknowledging customers, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues and concerns, and promoting products and services while maintaining a safe shopping environment.
Maintain the car wash/gas station area: clean and organize, ensure accurate pricing signage, handle claims and returns, zone the area, arrange and organize merchandise and supplies, identify shrink and damages, and ensure a safe working environment.
Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers, organize and maintain the facility by following company procedures, utilizing equipment appropriately, merchandising, and completing and retaining required paperwork, logs, and documentation.
Operate equipment such as cash registers and related tools to process customer purchases using appropriate procedures for different payment types and items sold.
Operate and maintain gas station and car wash area equipment, providing products and services to customers in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Additional Compensation Performance-based incentive awards (annual or quarterly) and potential premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
