Job Description As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms in accordance with company and departmental standards, ensuring the security of guest rooms and their contents, and providing timely support for guest requests.
Responsibilities
Change bed linens.
Collect and replenish used bath linens with fresh items.
Dust hard surfaces.
Vacuum carpeted areas.
Clean bathroom sinks, counters, tubs, showers, and toilets.
Replenish room amenities such as tissues and soaps.
Stock the supply cart with necessary cleaning supplies.
Update room status and complete required departmental paperwork.
Notify the housekeeping office of any repair needs in guest rooms.
Handle guest requests quickly and efficiently.
Perform other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior experience in a similar position preferred.
Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the shift.
Ability to push, pull, and maneuver a supply cart weighing approximately 200 pounds.
Capability to lift up to 30 pounds.
Physical flexibility for kneeling, reaching, stooping, bending, scrubbing, sweeping, vacuuming, and dusting.
Knowledge of proper chemical use for cleaning guest rooms (beneficial).
Must obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.
