Position
Immediate opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver at Ryder in West Palm Beach, FL.

Pay & Schedule
Weekly: $1,400+ per week
Hourly: $20 per hour
Hours per week: 60+ (overtime after 40 hours)
Safety bonus: $200 quarterly
Paid training
Schedule: Monday–Friday, start 5:00 AM
Vehicle & Experience
Deliver SOLO within Florida
Route: local home daily
Tractor type: day cab
Trailer type: flatbed (flatbed experience required 1 year)
Forklift experience required 6 months
Endorsements: hazmat within 90 days of hire (Ryder reimburses and trains)

Responsibilities
Ensuring compliance with federal/state laws, regulations, and agency rules
Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
Maintaining accurate records and logs
Loading/unloading freight or assisting as required by customer
Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum 21 years old
Pass Ryder drug test, background and motor vehicle check (including previous employers for last 3 years), DOT physical, Ryder road test
Class A CDL with endorsements; verifiable experience:
≥9 months within past 3 years
or ≥2 years within last 5 years
or ≥5 years within last 10 years
Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures
Additional Information Some positions require additional screening including employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check; and/or badge or background requirements of the customer.
