Creature Comforts Veterinary Resort and Suites, Inc. (CCVRS) is the vision of Craig and Donna Lambert. Dr. Lambert began the Creature Comforts Veterinary House Call Service in 2001 and has practiced veterinary medicine in the Upstate since 1994. Donna and her husband, Craig, launched CCVRS in 2008, bringing together a team of talent in Veterinary Care, Boarding, Grooming, Training and General Pet Care. We offer an on‑site premium full‑service veterinary clinic in a warm and fun environment, providing preventative care, dentistry, surgery, laboratory, and imaging services. Located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains near Spartanburg, we serve the community and celebrate local festivals.
Dog Day Care Attendant Duties and Responsibilities
Give dogs water throughout the day
Take dogs for walks
Handle bathing and grooming tasks as needed
Clean and maintain daycare, keeping it free of waste and unsanitary or hazardous materials
Supervise play areas to ensure pet safety
Keep records of each dog’s health and walking schedules
Perform light receptionist duties, such as answering phones and emails
Required Skills
Experience with large dogs
Experience working in a resort and/or day camp
Will be outside for the majority of shifts
We Are Looking For Someone With
Prior experience at a dog daycare facility, shelter, or in personal animal care
Familiarity with various dog breeds
Passion for taking care of animals
Teamwork and communication skills
Physical stamina for a highly demanding job
Ability to be outdoors in all weather conditions
Ability to lift 40 pounds
Ability to restrain a large dog on a leash and handle group play environment
Pay Range $12/hr
