Senior Wire Technician – Emerson
Lead the charge in building world‑class Industrial Control Systems! As a Senior Wire Technician, you’ll tackle the most complex projects, mentor the team, and ensure every system meets the highest standards of performance and safety.
Responsibilities
Independently assemble and test complete electrical and pneumatic systems.
Connect and test components (DeltaV™, Ovation™, PLCs, relays, transmitters, solenoid valves).
Apply expert knowledge of NEC, wiring codes, and diagnostic techniques to solve challenges.
Drive quality and efficiency while meeting customer and schedule requirements.
Provide hands‑on training and leadership to Wire Technicians I and II.
Qualifications
Expert knowledge of electrical theory and principles.
Mastery of the tools and equipment used in the electrical trades.
Ability to interpret, apply, and disseminate drawings, specifications, and codes.
Commitment to health, safety, cost, and quality consciousness.
Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand for long periods, kneel, reach, work in awkward postures, and climb ladders or step stools.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of experience in similar roles and environments.
Completion of a skilled trades program in electrical or automation systems.
Extensive history of electrical and leadership experience.
Previous work with Industrial Control Systems or PLC integration.
