CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver

Job Summary Sysco has immediate openings for dependable local CDL A Delivery Truck Drivers to safely operate a tractor-two-trailer and manually unload and deliver various products—meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods and supplies—to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. Drivers build relationships with customers, using a friendly attitude, to meet their needs and expectations.
Responsibilities • Operate a tractor-two‑trailer safely and efficiently.
• Manually unload and deliver products to assigned customer sites.
• Travel predetermined routes and adhere to schedule.
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle and equipment.
• Read and obey traffic signs, complete reports, and maintain records.
Qualifications
21+ years of age.
Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Proficiency in reading and speaking English for general communication, traffic signs, and completing reports.
Ability to lift, push or move freight averaging 40–60 pounds, up to 100 pounds, repeatedly.
Flexibility to work overtime, weekends and holidays as business needs require.
Pre‑employment background check and drug screen required.
Preferred Requirements
1 year of customer delivery experience.
6 months of hand‑cart/hand‑truck experience.
6 months of Food and Beverage industry experience.
Consistent 2‑year work history.
