Title:
Bartender – SOL Cherry Creek Pay Rate:
$16.27/Hour, Plus Tips opportunity! Purpose:
The bartender is responsible for welcoming guests, accurately taking all food and beverage orders, and ensuring timely delivery to guest satisfaction. Duties & Responsibilities
Provide guests with accurate and thorough information regarding menu items, pricing, and allergen information Recognize and cultivate regular guests and repeat business Take and enter orders into POS system promptly and accurately Ensure all food and drinks are served promptly and according to specifications Replenish stock during the shift Move furniture and equipment as directed by management Verify age 21+ before serving alcohol Follow precise drink recipes and service procedures Respond to guest concerns, resolve complaints, and maintain a positive attitude Comply with safety, health, and liquor laws Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards Process payments and close checks accurately Close cash out slips legibly and maintain accurate accounting of bar monies Perform nightly, weekly, opening, running, and closing duties Report equipment failures and safety hazards immediately Assist with additional tasks as assigned Qualifications & Skills
High School Diploma preferred Proof of eligibility to work in the United States Valid Driver’s License 21+ years of age Possession of or ability to possess all state required work cards Minimum of two (2) years related experience Experience with POS systems Strong beer and spirits knowledge Proper lifting techniques Guest relations, sanitation, and safety skills Safe alcohol service Full service restaurant operations Effective and assertive communication in English, both verbally and in writing Working Conditions
Work indoors and/or outdoors, exposed to hot and/or cold surfaces, steam, and wet floors Variable noise, crowds, and smoke depending on guest volume Fast paced, high volume, full service restaurant environment Shift work includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays Physical Requirements
Ability to walk long periods of time Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls Ability to repeat the same movements for long periods of time Ability to understand the speech of another person Ability to speak clearly so listeners can understand Ability to reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl Seniority Level
