Dance Instructor I & II

$20.75–$26.25/hour (see below)
Foothills is in need of a fun and energetic youth dance instructor to fit into our positive non‑competitive environment. The instructor is responsible for instructing, explaining, and demonstrating dance techniques and methods with musical or rhythmic accompaniment to youth dancers varying levels of skill and ability.
We are looking for experience with youth ballet and/or hip hop. The instructor will be needed in the afternoons (4‑8 pm) and/or mornings on Saturday. Must be available to sub occasional weekday evenings and mornings if required.
Required Experience Dance Instructor I
– Rate $20.75/hour
Graduate from high school or completion of GED.
2+ years of previous experience in a specialized dance form.
Dance Instructor II
– Rate $26.25/hour
5+ years experience teaching in a specialized dance form.
Instructors must be a working dancer and/or dance educator with at least 3 of the following criteria:
Bachelor degree in Dance or directly related field.
10 years of ongoing experience in the specialized form of dance.
Completed an internship/apprenticeship or affiliation with a dance company for 3+ years.
Possesses extensive knowledge gained through a variety of specialized workshops, trainings and/or membership with a major recognized dance organization.
