Deskside Support Technician

Our client has experienced significant growth over the past year and is seeking an on-site Deskside Support Technician to provide hands‑on technical support at their Palm Beach office. This role is focused on end‑user onboarding, laptop deployments, and high‑touch desk‑side support, including support for senior leadership and visiting VIPs.
Responsibilities
Provide on‑site deskside support to internal users at the Palm Beach office
Roll out and configure Windows laptops, including imaging, setup, and user onboarding
Deliver white‑glove support for executives, senior management, and VIP visitors
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to Windows OS, VPN connectivity, MFA authentication, Wi‑Fi and network access, and printers and peripherals
Perform basic Active Directory tasks, primarily password resets
Support device management and deployments using Microsoft Intune
Act as the sole on‑site IT presence in Palm Beach, managing daily priorities independently
Document work and provide regular status updates to the broader IT team
During downtime, assist with remote help desk support for users in other locations as needed
Requirements
3+ years of hands‑on IT support experience (deskside, desktop, or end‑user support)
Strong experience supporting Windows environments (no Mac support required)
Familiarity with Microsoft Intune
Working knowledge of Active Directory (password resets, basic user support)
Experience with VPN and MFA setup
Google Workspace experience is a plus
Excellent communication skills with the ability to support non‑technical users and senior leadership
Highly reliable, self‑motivated, and comfortable working independently on‑site
