The Omni La Mansion del Rio is ideally nestled along the historic Riverwalk in downtown San Antonio, within walking distance of the Alamo, El Mercado, La Villita District, Spanish Governor's Palace, and the San Antonio Convention Center.
Job Description Summary:
Represent the hotel at the main entrance by greeting guests enthusiastically and courteously, maintaining driveway and traffic flow, and offering luggage assistance.
Responsibilities
Follow Moments of Service or Forbes standards during every interaction with guests.
Provide an exceptional arrival and departure experience that makes guests feel welcome.
Engage guests to provide superior guest service.
Ensure valets are staged to maximize the guest experience.
Manage traffic at the front of the hotel.
Coordinate activity in the drive with the Bell Attendant to ensure timely delivery of luggage and valet attendants of guest vehicles.
Conduct key audit with the Valet Attendant at the end of each shift.
Maintain the cleanliness of the front of the hotel.
Notify the Front Desk and Guest Services of VIP arrivals whenever possible.
Load the baggage into cars or taxis for departing guests.
Maintain a clean and orderly appearance of the work area at all times.
Qualifications
Previous customer service experience.
Previous valet experience preferred.
Excellent grooming and body language to represent the brand.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Ability to lift 50 lbs frequently and work on feet for entire shift.
Ability to drive manual and automatic transmission preferred.
Valid in-state driver’s license.
Excellent driving record (less than 2 moving violations in the last two years).
At least 21 years of age.
Alcohol training certification (TABC).
