Job Description
St Pete Mitsubishi in Seminole has an immediate opening for a Lot Porter.
Must have a clean driving record and be over the age of 21.
The Vehicle Lot Porter verifies receipt of vehicles delivered to the dealer, compares serial numbers of incoming cars to the invoice, and inspects vehicles for damage. In addition, the Lot Attendant verifies accessories as listed on the invoice. He/she assigns stock control numbers to vehicles and catalogs/stores keys. The Lot Attendant shuttles vehicles following sales to maximize use of lot space and order. In short, the Lot Attendant "owns the lot" with regard to vehicle logistics. The ideal Lot Attendant has a high school diploma/GED, an unrestricted driver's license and a clean driving record, and a trustworthy demeanor and can drive both automatic and standard transmission vehicles.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Service vehicles with gas, oil, and water
Performs maintenance on cars in storage in order to protect tires, batteries, and exteriors from deterioration
Moves sold vehicles to maximize use of space and keep the lot in order
Delivers sold vehicles to the new-vehicle preparation department
Performs other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED
Must be at least 21 years old
Can operate a standard‑transmission vehicle
Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
An impressive work ethic
Neat, clean, and professional appearance
Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills
