Our integrated model blends clinical therapy, specialty education, and family support, offering a unique environment for both students and staff. Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate, adaptable Special Education Teacher to join our specialty K-12 school program. The teacher will develop and deliver individualized, evidence-based instruction for neurodiverse learners, collaborating with therapists and families to support student success. Key Responsibilities
Design and implement individualized lesson plans using UDL principles Adapt curriculum and instruction to meet diverse learning needs Collect and analyze student progress data Collaborate with therapy team (ABA, mental health, speech, OT) Communicate regularly with families and caregivers Maintain compliance with Texas Education Agency, FERPA, and licensure requirements Participate in ongoing professional development and staff training Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field Texas Special Education certification (or eligibility) Experience teaching students with autism, ADHD, or learning disabilities Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills Commitment to trauma-informed, inclusive education CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Benefits
