Compensation Starting wage: $18.00 per hour
Shift Schedule Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 10 am–6 pm

Responsibilities
Be a Culinary Craftsman: prepare all menu items according to established standards and recipes, providing exceptional quality food that is attractively presented in a timely fashion.
Take the Mess Out of Mess Hall: ensure health protocols are always followed, including proper hygiene, sanitary food preparation, and proper food temperatures.
Be a Culinary Connector: familiarize yourself with the residents and their preferences and needs, and participate in resident orientations.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Must possess a current Food Handlers Card as specified per the Department of Health.
Demonstrated leadership, training, and supervision skills.
Proficient written and oral communication skills with management, professional, and support staff.
Active – requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Must be able to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable working in close contact with extreme temperatures, including cooking surfaces and walk‑in freezers.
Primary indoor work, but also available for outdoor events.
Must be criminally cleared.
