Embassy Suites by Hilton Kansas City Overland Park • Overland Park, KS, US We’re looking for a professional, experienced housekeeper or a previous Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager to perform impeccable housekeeping services and provide our guests with a safe and clean environment for an exceptional stay with us. You’ll lead the housekeeping team on the days that the Manager is off, ensure team members comply with high standards of cleanliness and sanitation protocol, inspect rooms, oversee the housekeeping department's daily performance, and fill in with housekeeping room cleaning duties in the event of employee absences. Experience in a supervisory role overseeing housekeeping staff or a similar role is ideal, but high recommendations from previous employers and a general housekeeping background are accepted. Responsibilities
Oversee the housekeeping department budget, take inventory, and ensure there is a stock of adequate cleaning supplies Hire and train housekeeping staff to perform cleaning duties and deliver customer satisfaction to our expectations Track areas cleaned by room attendants and contact the front office to handle room damage or maintenance needs Supervise housekeeping staff as they perform daily assignments, including cleaning all guest rooms and public areas
Qualifications
Well-versed in environmental services (EVS) including sanitation protocol and procedures, and how to use cleaning supplies and equipment 2+ years of hospitality or guest services experience The ideal applicant is an experienced leader who demonstrates great attention to detail and customer service skills 3+ years of supervisory experience in housekeeping management as an executive housekeeper, housekeeping director, or other similar position
Compensation
$19 - $22 hourly
