Summary At Hyatt, guests choose our hotels for the caring and attentive service our associates provide. Andaz Miami Beach is recruiting part‑time Turndown Attendants to join our team. This art‑deco luxury lifestyle hotel features 287 guestrooms, including 64 spectacular suites and an exclusive Ocean‑view arrival experience. The property offers private outdoor terraces, a full‑service spa, fitness centre, signature dining by José Andrés, two pools and a Beach Club. The hotel’s 25,000 sq. ft. event spaces are a landmark for music, art and fashion celebrations.
Position Summary The Turndown Attendant performs turn‑down service, stocks supplies, and monitors late departure rooms. The employee supports lobby attendants, laundry staff, and other hotel operations as needed to maintain the highest service standards for our guests.
Responsibilities
Provide turndown service to required guest rooms following established standards.
Turn down bed, replenish amenities and linens, and restock supplies.
Assist Public Area Attendants in delivering guest requests.
Refresh other rooms or replenish supplies as needed.
Serve as a runner to guest rooms for requested items.
Assist Lobby Attendants in public areas when required.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, tools and equipment.
Report service discrepancies to the appropriate manager or supervisor and resolve when possible.
Visually inspect rooms for cleanliness, report issues, and signify completion of cleaning.
Report safety or security concerns to the appropriate manager or supervisor.
Assist AM attendants by stripping and making beds, changing linens, dusting furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves.
Sign for room keys and restock the heavy cart.
Complete all other duties as assigned, including cross‑training.
Perform any other related duty as required.
Requirements and Qualifications
Able to exert up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally and 10 lbs. of force frequently.
Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays when business needs dictate.
Work cohesively with co‑workers as part of a team.
Able to work in a fast‑paced, stressful environment.
