Montessori Children’s School is thriving and expanding! We are seeking a dedicated
Upper Elementary Lead Teacher
to join our small, vibrant, and nurturing community. Our school serves children ages 2–14, and our beautiful neighborhood campus features thoughtfully designed classrooms, wooded trails, and peaceful spaces for students to learn, play, and grow.
About the Role: As an Upper Elementary Lead Teacher, you will guide students in a hands‑on, Montessori environment that inspires curiosity, independence, and a love of learning. You will have the opportunity to create an engaging classroom, integrate outdoor experiences into your curriculum, and contribute to a supportive, collaborative teaching community.

Has a passion for Montessori education and student‑centered learning.
Demonstrates kind, effective, and consistent classroom management.
Creates a stimulating and thoughtfully prepared learning environment.
Values outdoor learning and nature exploration as part of the curriculum.
Is nurturing, honest, and dedicated to student growth.
Possesses strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Works well as part of a collaborative team.
Is flexible, reflective, and committed to ongoing professional growth.
Qualifications:
Montessori certification from a MACTE‑accredited training center preferred.
Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree and willingness to pursue Montessori certification will also be considered.
Experience teaching upper elementary‑aged children is highly desired.
