We currently have an opening for a Janitor / Utility Person to perform cleaning of the manufacturing floor and minor repairs or maintenance.
Monday – Friday workweek Swing Shift: 3:15 PM – 11:45 PM (5% per hour shift differential)
Daily Tasks include
Removing waste materials from the manufacturing floor
Using a powered floor scrubber, mops, and brooms to keep the building floors dust and debris free
Perform simple repairs and preventive maintenance work
Safely preparing and using cleaning chemicals
Following the schedule
Communicating with supervisors and peers
Ideal Candidate Qualities
Ability to bend, stoop, push, pull, twist, turn, climb, and move around a large manufacturing facility for the entire shift
Capable of handling objects weighing up to 50 lbs
Ability to routinely follow basic safety precautions
Strong work ethic, desire to deliver on expectations
Position requires GED or High School diploma.
This is an entry level position and no prior janitorial experience is necessary.
