Responsibilities
As a member of our hospitality team, the primary responsibility of a Bartender is to deliver exceptional customer service in the hotel\'s Bar, Pool, and Restaurant outlets by creating and serving a variety of cocktails and drinks. Check customers\' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age. Prepare cocktails and serve wine, draught, or bottled beer, and maintain inventory and supplies at the bar. Assess guest needs and preferences, make recommendations for food and drinks, and offer daily specials. Prepare a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring accurate recipes and proper presentation. Serve beverages responsibly, ensuring a well-organized bar inventory and adequate supplies for smooth operations. Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and serving snacks and drinks promptly. Provide personalized recommendations based on guest preferences; promote daily specials and highlight unique offerings. Prioritize exceptional customer service focused on guest satisfaction and a pleasant, memorable visit. Adhere to all food and beverage regulations, including responsible alcohol service and safety guidelines. Participate in daily stand-up meetings to stay informed about specials, promotions, and relevant updates. Handle orders and requisitions of liquors and supplies to maintain a well-stocked and appealing bar display. Prepare garnishes for drinks with attractive and visually appealing presentations. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards by wiping surfaces nightly and cleaning floors regularly; take out trash as needed to maintain a clean workspace. Assist with monthly inventory counts to track stock levels and identify discrepancies. Accurately report gratuities according to company guidelines and federal law. Observe and comply with Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC) board requirements for alcohol service regulations.
