Role Overview Early Literacy Tutor (K‑3), Part‑Time, Boston, MA. This position will begin Feb. 2026. As a tutor you will advocate, mentor, and guide students, providing instructional services in reading, mathematics, and writing.
Responsibilities
Diagnose learning skill deficits and deliver prescribed instructional methods as determined by the Company.
Consult with school personnel to coordinate efforts in providing services to students.
Communicate with parents, providing information on student progress.
Deliver instructional methods in readiness, reading, mathematics, and/or writing skills using Company‑designed materials.
Develop and maintain individualized lesson plans.
Ensure supervision of students, including escorting them safely to and from sessions.
Maintain student forms and files as required by the Company, local, state, and federal agencies.
Attend and document meetings/training with supervisors, teachers, principals, and parents as required.
Maintain inventory of educational materials and supplies.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Four‑year degree and some work experience with children.
FBI/BCI background check required.
Teaching experience preferred.

Ability to navigate online platforms for record keeping and communication.
Pay Rate USD $35.00–$36.00 per hour.
Physical Requirements Light lifting, walking, and climbing stairs. Most programs are in school settings.
