The Opportunity This position will support and develop campus programs and productions that contribute to a lively and welcoming campus community. The Assistant Director will advise the university’s student programming board, Touch‑N‑Go Productions, and will be responsible for the planning and implementation of department‑sponsored campus involvement programs, including the Bonus Bucks incentive program for campus involvement, regular smaller‑scale programs, and specific events within large‑scale programs such as Homecoming. The Assistant Director reports to the Associate Director for Involvement & Orientation and is part of a collaborative team of professionals supporting student engagement across a wide range of areas that include student organizations, student government, fraternity & sorority life, and the Student Union.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree in Student Affairs, Counseling, Higher Education Administration or related field preferred.

Minimum of 1‑3 years of full‑time experience in higher‑ed student affairs.

Demonstrated experience in campus programming, advising, and student development.

Experience with campus programming board, either through work or undergraduate experience preferred.

Ability to work evening and weekend hours.
