Overview Teaches snowboarding techniques according to resort and AASI guidelines in group or individual settings, tailored to customer skill level. Must be willing to work with children, energetic, outgoing, able to interact with guests in a friendly and fun manner. As a customer-focused organization, obtaining and retaining guests is crucial.
Responsibilities
Organize and conduct group and private snowboard lessons in accordance with resort and AASI guidelines.
Demonstrate and communicate proper snowboard techniques.
Promote safety and risk awareness per resort safety policies.
Adhere to resort Handbook and Ski School Manual policies and procedures.
Assist the skiing public whenever possible.
Help organize and divide classes whenever possible.
Contribute to team effort: participate in Job Sharing, maintain cleanliness and safety of resort, attend safety meetings, accept diverse assignments, maintain positive attitude in internal and external interactions.
Qualifications
Ages 16 or older.
Intermediate level skiing ability or above.
Ability to perform all essential duties satisfactorily.
Seniority level Entry level
