Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa, located in Rosenberg, 77471, is seeking a Spa Associate specializing in front desk sales. A Spa Associate at Hand & Stone plays a crucial role in creating an outstanding experience for guests by providing excellent customer service and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
Providing excellent customer service, including greeting guests and building client relationships.
Communicating information about services, promotions, and sales.
Meeting sales goals and selling memberships, gift cards, and upgrades.
Managing administrative tasks such as answering phones, booking appointments, and filing.
Assisting with daily spa maintenance and upholding cleanliness standards.
Working as a team player with a positive attitude.
Assisting the Leadership Team with various tasks.
Promoting the health and wellness benefits of massage therapy.
Performing other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications Typically Include
Customer service experience, preferably 1-2 years or more.
Sales or retail experience, with salon/spa experience being a plus.
Technical skills, such as knowledge of Microsoft Office, spa management software (like Millennium or Spa Soft), and basic computer skills.
Strong soft skills including excellent communication, interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, reliability, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask and handle stressful situations.
Availability for flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
A high school diploma or equivalent education.
Being 18 years or older.
Must be self-motivated, confident, and extroverted.
Ability to start and maintain conversations with guests.
A strong drive to achieve sales targets.
