Overview The Custodian at Cook Winston-Salem is responsible to clean, monitor and maintain, consistent with internal standards, a controlled manufacturing area and a machine shop environment. This also includes maintaining the cleanliness of bathrooms, breakrooms and offices.
Responsibilities
Clean and monitor a controlled manufacturing area, all offices and general building areas on a daily basis
Clean and monitor all bathrooms, break rooms and offices
Maintain daily work charts of cleaning and maintenance done in all areas
Maintain stock level of custodial supplies
Perform other duties as necessary and fill in other areas as needed
Maintain regular and punctual attendance
Must maintain company quality and quantity standards
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Ability to read/write/understand work charts
Minimum 6 months custodial experience, preferably in a controlled manufacturing environment
Works independently, following standard practices, referring problems to the Facilities Supervisor
Responsible for the timely and accurate cleaning, maintenance and documentation of assigned areas adhering to internal standards
Ability to maintain confidentiality due to access to product line
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations
Ability to occasionally lift, push, and pull items weighing between 10-50 lbs, and entire day is spent walking, bending, stooping, lifting, pulling and pushing
