We’re currently seeking a Bistro Cook & Server to join our team.
Position Summary The Bistro Cook/Server is a dual‑role position responsible for preparing and serving fresh, high‑quality food and beverages while delivering an exceptional guest experience in the Courtyard Bistro. This role blends culinary execution, guest service, and operational support in a fast‑paced, hospitality‑driven environment.
Key Responsibilities Food Preparation & Cooking
Prepare and cook Bistro menu items according to brand standards, recipes, and food safety guidelines
Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and portion control
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, prep areas, and equipment
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
Guest Service
Greet guests warmly and take food and beverage orders accurately
Serve food and beverages promptly with a friendly, professional demeanor
Handle cash and credit card transactions using the POS system
Address guest questions, requests, and concerns in a timely and courteous manner
Bistro Operations
Assist with opening and closing duties, including stocking, cleaning, and setup
Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs to management
Support bar service as needed (beer/wine service where applicable and permitted)
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth service flow
Qualifications
Previous food service, cooking, or hospitality experience preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
Basic food safety knowledge; food handler certification required (or ability to obtain)
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
