What You’ll Do As a CDL‑A Delivery Driver

Inspect the tractor‑trailer for defects pre‑ and post‑trip and submit a DOT inspection report.

Inspect the bill of lading and store keys accurately for off‑hour delivery.

Drive the tractor‑trailer to the destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering the vehicle on the road and at customer premises.

Maintain a driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.

Unload the trailer, delivering products to the customer premises.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications You’ll Bring as a CDL‑A Teammate

At least 21 years old.

Valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL‑A).

At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor‑trailer driving experience.

Meet McLane’s MVR and risk‑rating qualifications.

English literacy sufficient for reading, writing, and understanding safety instructions and communication.
