Join Warner Bros. Discovery’s Food Services department as a 2nd Cook at Warner Bros. Studio Operations.
Position Overview The Food Services department provides food for commissary and special events. The 2nd Cook prepares, cooks, and serves food. This role supports First Cooks and ensures compliance with food safety and lighting protocols.
Role Accountabilities
Prepare, cook, and serve food for the Food Services department, including commissary and special events.
Assist at stations in the commissary, ensuring a clean, sanitized, and organized workspace.
Support and follow instructions from First Cooks.
Properly close, wrap, label, and clean work areas in accordance with Food Services and health department protocols.
Qualifications & Experience
2 to 5 years of cooking experience in high-volume banquet facilities, hotel or conference centers, or fine dining restaurants.
Ability to prep grill, sauté, cook, and prepare sauces in a fast-paced environment.
Valid ServSAFE Food Handling Certificate.
Good verbal communication skills.
Flexible schedule; possible work beyond 8-hour standard shift, weekends, and holidays.
Standard shift approximately 8 hours per day with a 30-minute paid meal break, minimum 6 hours worked.
Physical exertion: standing long periods, walking, bending, lifting, carrying, cleaning kitchen equipment, and maneuvering heavy weights up to 50 plus lbs.

Compensation and Benefits Pay Range: $35,360 – $60,489 per year. Additional rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program‑specific awards. Benefits: health insurance coverage, employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid holidays, sick time, and vacation.
