We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Installer/Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work and construction, with experience in both high and low voltage systems. As a Solar Installer, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of solar panel systems on residential and commercial properties, ensuring that all work is completed safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Install solar panels and associated equipment on rooftops and ground‑mounted systems.

Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand installation requirements.

Perform electrical work including fixture installation, wiring, and connection of solar systems to the grid.

Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards during installation.

Utilize hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as forklifts to complete installations.

Conduct site assessments to determine optimal placement of solar panels.

Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining high‑quality standards.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.

Troubleshoot any issues that arise during installation or maintenance.

Requirements

Proven experience as an electrician or in a related field, with a focus on commercial projects preferred.

Strong understanding of high voltage and low voltage electrical systems.

Familiarity with NEC regulations and safety practices in electrical installations.

Experience reading blueprints and schematics effectively.

Background in roofing or construction is highly desirable.

Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and other equipment necessary for installation tasks.

Ability to work at heights safely and effectively on rooftops or elevated structures.

Previous experience working on construction sites is essential.

Knowledge of plumbing systems is a plus but not required.
