The primary responsibilities of Houseperson is maintaining cleanliness in assigned areas, supporting room attendants, and ensuring adherence to brand standards. The role combines physical labor, attention to detail, and guest interaction. This position also will also support our guests and hotel with driving our 14 passenger shuttle daily.

Please note that public transportation (SEPTA) does not service our property on weekends nor matches hours required. Other means of transportation will be required for this position when scheduled those days.

Position Details

Employment Type: Full-time (40 Hours/week- 5 days)

Scheduled Hours: Monday & Tuesday: 2pm-10pm & Wednesday-Friday: 11am-7pm. Primarily a set schedule each week, however occasional weekends will be required based on hotel needs/requests

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

Requirements: valid driver's license with no major violations within the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

Cleaning lobbies, restrooms, hallways, and other public areas

Assisting housekeeping staff with laundry and room cleaning

Emptying trash and responding to guest requests promptly

Set up, break down and refresh meeting rooms per BEOs

Reliable and safe transportation for our guests to and from within a 3 mile radius and pick up hotel orders as needed

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 35-50 pounds

Attention to detail and excellent time management skills

Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required

flexible schedule as the hotel operates 24/7

Note Duties may adapt to meet evolving business needs. All offers are contingent on background checks. Adhering to Newport Handbook policies is required.
