Role Overview We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable
Middle School Spring Volleyball Coach
to lead our middle school team. The coach will develop athletes' skills, foster teamwork, and promote a culture of discipline, sportsmanship, and academic success.
Key Responsibilities
Recruit, train, and develop student-athletes to compete in interscholastic track and field competitions.
Plan and lead structured practices focusing on skill development, conditioning, and strategy.
Assess athletes' abilities, assign positions, and determine meet lineups.
Monitor student-athletes' academic progress and ensure eligibility compliance.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined team culture.
Ensure all safety protocols and injury procedures are followed.
Collaborate with the Athletic Director and school staff to support student growth on and off the track.
What We're Looking For
Experience:
1-3 years of coaching (middle school level preferred).
Knowledge:
Strong understanding of track and field techniques, strategies, and regulations.
Leadership:
Ability to inspire, motivate, and develop student-athletes.
Communication:
Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage with students, staff, and families.
Commitment:
Passion for sports, education, and student success.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to training and coaching.
